About SMOIF

    SMOIF is the industrial pioneer of medical optical instruments in China. Its long tradition of developing and manufacturing endoscopic system can be traced back as early as 1937.

    Through the long tradition, SMOIF has been evolved as a specialized firm in the design, development, manufacture and marketing of a wide range of medical optical equipment in its four series of products: electronic flexible endoscopes, optical fiber flexible endoscopes, rigid endoscopes and surgical microscopes. SMOIF equipment and systems are widely used by the medical practitioners around the world, including China, Europe, America, Mideast, Southeast Asia and Africa.

    Since October, 2012, SMOIF has become a whole subsidiary of Mindray. Mindray SMOIF is making ever more extensive research & development efforts with strong commitment of providing high quality medical optical systems.

    In March 2017, Mindray completed the transfer of all shares of SMOIF and SMOIF became a natural person holding limited liability company.
